Can you match the Norse God/Goddess with the correct Clan?
Although most of the time the relations between the Aesir and the Vanir were peaceful, there were some times when they decided to go to war one against the other.
In war, while the Aesir preferred the use of legendary weapons, the Vanir often used magical powers and other ways to try to outsmart their foes.
By waging wars against one another, the 2 major legendary clans, which are often assimilated to 2 Major Pantheons, are united into a Single Major Norse Pantheon.
Unlike the conflict between the Titans and Olympians, which is often portrayed as a war between older and younger gods, the Aesir and Vanir Gods are contemporaries, meaning that they have the same age.
The war between the Gods is often seen as destructive, but like in Greek mythology, war can have the effect of reshaping the world, making it better, so it is more like a double edge sword.
There is also a difference between Norse and Greek mythology, the Greek mythology doesn’t have an ending event like Ragnarok in Nordic Mythology.
In Norse mythology, Ragnarok is both the end of a world and the beginning of another.
The war between Zeus and the Titans on the other hand it represents the beginning of the world.
The world of the Greek gods doesn’t have any ending like the Norse.
Another major difference between Norse and Greek gods is that the Norse gods are more close to humans, unlike the Greeks.
